This case describes a typical smart-device development assignment. The client has an initial product concept and core functional goals and needs a China-based team to refine requirements, define the system architecture, coordinate software and hardware development, and verify an engineering prototype. At project start, several interfaces, component decisions, and enclosure requirements remain open.
Delivery objective
Establish an approved requirements baseline and system architecture, complete coordinated software and hardware implementation, verify the integrated engineering prototype, and deliver a version-controlled technical handover package.

Project boundaries
The final scope, schedule, deliverables, and acceptance criteria are defined in the signed project documents. Product certification, tooling, mass production, regulatory testing, cloud operating costs, and third-party licenses are included only when expressly listed. Testing that requires formal accreditation is performed by qualified external laboratories.
